My first epoch!

Hey guys,

This is my first epoch, It's a spec 2, has 4 cells (2 x zzmt packs), bug turbo, lbrc's bb diff mod, custom led lights with plug and socket.

I bought this from betty.k just a few mins ago, So it hasnt been shipped yet, but i've got some pictures for you all.

Can't wait to get racing, next up i'll be ordering an LBRC shotgun motor mount ;)

Thanks arch, do many people visit this forum anymore ? It seems almost dead, which is a shame because i'm only just getting into epoch's . :confused:

epochs reacha much smaller audience thus the limited pool of potential forum members.

the summer racing outdoosa is coming to an end so more people will be coming back to indoor racing which is mostly smaller cars

That's good news, allthough over here it's nearly summer! :D spring at the moment, but the weather is still reasonable.

I'll definatly be ordering a Shotgun motor mount for this car through LBRC, looks like an essential ! :cool:

i think there are a number of regualr members however as with most forums, they tend to lurk.

also keep in mind the mini-z lit is becomign readibly available which will spawn modifications to both. losi also announced a 1/36 micro-t. this to will inspire micro rc modifications. this winter will hooepfully be a much busier time for us.

Yea, I'm definatly going to order my micro-t as soon as funds allow, and i'm hoping this and the lit brings alot more attention to micro/mini scales. It's nice to have a forum to talk about epoch though, as alot of the information online is very "scattered". There's alot of good info here, and I look forward to seeing more people.... there's recently been a giveaway of DG masters and Epoch's on another micro site lately, and maybe some of the more serious members will flock here ;) , there's alot more to be given away, so let's hope more people become interested in the epoch world. :cool:

;) Got a good point there Arch, waiting for the Lit, Lit parts, and the Micro-T has got me twitching. Should have the Lit and parts before the end of October, then the Micro-T in November, starting to look like its going to be a pretty good/busy winter for Micro RC, and I have a sneaking suspicion that we haven’t seen everything yet.

I've got about 4 epochs in desperate need of batteries. One is working but is only stock at the moment. I have another stock but it's in a box. BTW honda, i was about to reply in your bitpimps thread in your topic about looking for epoch parts, but just couldn't let go of my bodies ... lol, good luck with that though.

Thanks for the comments guys, arfin, I could allways use bodies I guess, but i'm more on the lookout for stuff like different tyres, boat motor(s) and such, and get that epoch out of the box ! :lol:

I'm pretty sure that's all his epoch stuff, but I could be wrong.

If you happed to have a levin body, i'd be more than happy to trade :) , allthough it's pointless me selling it, because i'll have no body for it :( so yea if you fo happen to have a levin or possibly the old skyline body, let me know.

Guess who is now the proud owner of these 2 cars ! They arrived safely this afternoon, and are brilliant! I've been hooked on running the DG master, and it's stock! Very unusual for me to run a car for a long while stock, but I think this one will stay stock, it's lived well past my expectations, being a clone I was expecting it to be not so great, but it's great, the only complaint I have is the servo locks up now and again, Have to mention how cool it is to have indicators and hazard lights though! hehehe, great fun, I'll have to switch them into a nice scale body, would look awsome!

I havent had a chance to run the sp2 epoch yet, but I can see it's a very sweet car, and i'm loving the light kit, super-bright!... Diff seems a little notchy, but i'll see what becomes of that.

He also threw in a **** load of free bodies 2, about 5 lexan ones, and 4 resin (i think) cast ones.

I'll snap some pictures tomorrow, but it's dark now and the lighting's not great indoors.

I hope to be hanging around here for a good while, and purchasing more epoch's and DG master's in the future! :D
