Pics of my LBRC modified car. It has the removable battery mod, turbo and of course the shotgun motor pod. Also a pic of the cameraman :)

Such a joy to drive, I love the feel of coreless in the morning!

WOW! Seriously dude, I had no idea of the speed these are capable of ! That really put it in perspective, That's just amazed me. Brilliant video, and thanks so much for posting it :).

Nice cameraman, allthough what happened to his arms lol. ;)

Very nice cdog, at that speed i thought it would flip on the turns but in that video it seems nice and stable. Sweet track, why isn't the lap timer hooked up?

Glad you guys liked the video. I'll try to take another when its not cold and late night so I can open the garage door and hopefully get the whole track in view.

honda, I was laying off the throttle on that too, never got above 1/2 throttle for most of the track. You have to drive it to appreciate it though. Coreless motors coast like there is no motor hooked up. Most brushed motors have some drag so that when you let off the throttle its like you're braking lightly. Not these! It really complements the 2wd driving style. Even better, LBRC said the orange endbell motors work w/o a turbo, so you get start small and work up to fully modified if funds are an issue. These were the red (now green?) endbell motors, but I did test the orange and they're just as fast on this track. On a bigger track the reds might hit a bit more topend but it'd be hard to lay down that speed w/o flipping.

arfin, above sorta answers your question :) I was trying to push it, w/o rolling, I think stiffer springs to prevent body roll would help. I might lose some steering but I had the dual rate most of the way down anyway, so I have plenty of steering to open back up. As to why the lap timer isn't up yet, we moved in and we've been busy unpacking/cleaning etc. so I just haven't gotten to it yet.

Wow, great info there man, thanks.

I've noticed the coreless motor in my superslick allows the car to coast very well too, even on such a basic car, they definatly are great motors :)

how many epochs do you get to race with?

So far I've been solo'ing. But finally have a few friend's with epochs so we should be putting some races in. Need to clean up my laser pointer tower though, only 1 laser is setup for accurate adjustment. I think a whole redesign is in order to be honest. We'll see tho :)
