As mentioned in another thread, my intial concerns regarding the epoch were it's weight.
what have people done to modify a chassis or has this been done much? is anyone currently working on an aftermarket chassis or have there been any available in the past?

Are there any pictures of a regular chassie? I bet one could make a "pan" style one like a mini-z so you could change the batteries to run for long :D

Hehe, mini CF chassis. Would be cute. I haven't really opened mine up yet, with the intention of keeping them stock for racing purposes. Need to pick up another for experimentation I guess :)
You could have a lot of freedom if you didn't use the epoch servo/motorgearbox. Wonder if we could create an improved diff this way? Don't know of anything this small with a diff beyond the epoch itself tho.
If you wanted to keep the servo/motorgearbox, would it be possible to screw them down to a CF/alum chassis plate? I'm finishing up work on a custom aluminum xmod chassis and that was a pretty easy bolt down conversion. Unscrew from stock, screw down to new chassis.

A new servo all together would be great! I bet a XMOD servo would be the chepest fix. Fast motor and new servo horn etc would make it perfect.
One thing i think would be good is to be able to switch out batteries super fast so you can get a few packs and race for a while etc..
A diff would be something that could be done, just not easily...

Cool ideas guys, keep them coming and we'll see if we can't develop something...!
