Looking for others in the area that have Epoch's Mini-z to race.
I have a basement track that I cannot seem to upload the
pictures on this site. Hopefully I can get them up soon.
If I have no luck I will ask if I can e-mail them and have someone
put them into my album for me :)
I had fellow epoch-1-43 member "kylelucas" over for some Sat. morning
racing and it was great! Could use another person or 2 to make things
interesting. My track is constructed on an elevated surface with
smooth wood laminate surface that provides great traction and
handling for these fun cars. the overall size of the track is
14 feet by 10 feet. It has full foam walls and barriers.
By using different tires, it really changes the way the car
handles. Loads of fun for stock Epochs with one good 14 ft straight
followed by some chicanes and stuff.
Look for pics soon I hope.....

I have not had any other people, other than
Kyle. I am still in the process of adding some small
removable jumps and rough terrain for my epochs that
are set up with high/soft suspension for my love of
rally racing. Still trying to get my pictures up on the
site..........

First,...THANKS Kyle!!! I was actually going to ask if you could
help me with putting pics up!! I kept forgetting to ask.
Second, The total cost was about $50.00 or less. I used a
NON-HOLE peg board that was labled as "paneling"
it is about 1/4" thick and has a good side for racing on.
The foam barriers is from one sheet of the 1" wide tyvex home
insulation foam. It is really dense and is easy to cut with a sharp
utility knife. I used hot-glue to attach all the foam to the
driving surface. It took about 1-day of solid work to build it.
It was designed on CAD prior to buying the materials and deciding
on lane width and such. Just used it last night! I am also going
to add some removable rally jumps and speed bumbs for the
cars that I have set-up with high-soft suspension.
Thanks for all who have looked.

badskater21, we're in Ann Arbor - how far is Waterford from here, I've heard of it, but I'm not exactly sure where it is? Also, we're going to be having a Mini-Z/XMODS event in the next few weeks, would you guys be up for that? Cool! :)

Waterford is near Pontiac. It is about 45 minutes to Ann Arbor.
I would EASILY make the trip out there to race Mini-Z's Xmods-evo's,
and Epochs!!! I know that Kyle would like too as well.
He is gone for about a week or two and then he will probably
want to come out and race. Feel free to contact me at
my e-mail address: badskater21@cs.com.
Thanks for the invite to race, and I (we) will defintiatly take you
up and that!!
Keep me posted on race times and directions.

Hi gang,
I added a ZipZap lap counter to my home track and it works great
for doing Time Trails and for practice laps. I found that it
really adds some "mental stress" to running because you are
constantly trying to get that "best lap" that others will
have a hard time trying to match or beat!! I know
that Will3kgt will probably beat it with NO-PROBLEM as
he is a driver and totally kicked my BUTT on my own track his
first time over the house!!!
Now the Summer is closing in I will probably wait till Fall time to try
to solicit some racing action again in the basement!!
