Here's a repost of something I just posted at bitPimps. Thought it may come in handy for someone here.

When I got my Epoch, I couldn't use the stock radio, because the steering trim did not have enough range to get it tracking straight.

I tried shaving off part of the knob to allow more adjustment, and that helped, but it still pulled to the left slightly. I shaved off more, but the pot had no more room for adjustment.

So I thought maybe adding a resistor might help, when I noticed there was already a resistor that looked added on. So I clipped it, and I'll be damned, the car actually pulled to the right, and I had to adjust it left, to which I had plenty of room for adjustment.

Now that it worked, I needed to work on the flimsy feel. So I put a screw in the back to secure the adjustable handle, and that helped quite a bit.

Now I have no complaints with the controller. It actually has a fairly nice feel to the controls. :-o

And I also wanted to add, I'm wondering if maybe that resistor could have been intended for the throttle. I get slight adjustment to the reverse, but I can't get it moving forwards with the trim. Adding that restor to the throttle should, in theory balance it out. I'm gonna test it later.

Yeah someone agrees the controller isn't that bad, but this is the best controller i've used before.
