Okay here is a Spec-2 upgrade wishlist I'm putting together:

4cell and/or lithium battery mod
front bearings
FET mod (aka turbo)
faster motor
rear bearings
ball diff
easy to swap battery
better way to secure wheels on hubs
more body choices

Am I missing anything? Maybe crazy stuff like:

alloy (or something more durable than regular plastic) steering blocks/knuckles/spindles and tie rod
better rear suspension?

Please use this thread to link to the good info on these upgrades.

Or chime in on what you would want.

Oops, almost forgot:

Buy Spec-2 RTR or Chasis Set (if you have a Transmitter & Crystals) from the shop on this site
get soft wide tires for all four wheels

well, as far as durability, i think these things are hard to break so stronger parts isn't an issue...

i think...

better turning radius
lighter bodies
wheel bearings
better diff
table top track system

I was thinking a more "durable" steering knuckle/block because over time the plastic will wear causing "slop" in the wheel angle. Not so much because I have broken them and/or heard others who have. Just thinking of anything to tighten up the steering even though it's pretty good right out of the box.

Maybe it's not an issue, and you could always just buy a new plastic set if you do start to see excessive slop (but then you'd have to do the bearing mod all over again to the new set).
